Galaxy S7 Edge concepts have us salivating for Samsung’s new flagship

The new iPhones might have just launched, but let’s talk about something else for a moment. Samsung is apparently already rather far along in its development process for the new Galaxy S7, which may even launch two months earlier than normal. We don’t know what it’s going to look like yet, but rumor has it that Samsung is planning a flat panel model and another with an edge display. SCAVidsHD recently created two concept videos that imagine what the Galaxy S7 Edge might look like

SCAVidsHD keeps the concepts pretty conservative, which is good. We’re not too sure that Samsung will gravitate much from the current designs, which have been praised by reviewers and the public for their beauty.

We do see, however, two front-facing speakers, an upgrade that would be appreciated, and a USB-C port, which seems very plausible. Additionally, SCAVidsHD imagines a 21-megapixel camera, a 2K display, 4GB of RAM and, of course, a screen that spills over the edges of the device.

Again, these are concepts, not real videos from Samsung, but we’re impressed and the specs do seem plausible. Check out the videos below.
