Microsoft’s upcoming Lumia 550 has leaked out in new renders ahead of its official unveiling. The entry-level Windows device sports a trademark Lumia look, and boasts a front-facing flash for brighter selfies.
The image above was published on Twitter by reliable leaker Evan Blass, or @evleaks. It’s thought the Lumia 550 could make its official debut at Microsoft’s October 6 event, alongside the flagship Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.
Recent rumors have claimed the Lumia 550 will be an affordable device powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 8GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity, and a 4.7-inch display with 1280×720 resolution. It is expected to come in glossy white and matte black.
Windows Central reports the device will also have a front-facing LED flash, which will provide better selfies in low-light conditions. However, it’s hard to see that front-facing flash in these images, so we’ll have to wait for Microsoft’s event for confirmation of that.
