Call of Duty: Black Ops III gets an official story trailer

In a marketing move much more traditional than faking a terrorist attack on Twitter, Activision has released a brand new story trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. You’ll find that directly above this paragraph.

For a lot of Call of Duty fans, Treyarch’s Black Ops line represents the best storyline in the franchise. I know I loved the original Black Ops, though I never tried Black Ops II… at least, I don’t remember playing it.

These games really run together, don’t they?

The story trailer shows of a lot of the game’s cutscenes in typical slow motion and epic fashion. We also catch a glimpse and hear snippets of famous actors appearing in the game. I believe we hear Bill Paxton at one point, and I’m almost positive the blonde female is none other than Katee Sackhoff, the person who played Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica.

What do you think? Is Call of Duty: Black Ops III going to be another stellar romp for Treyarch? The game will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Nov. 6, 2015.
