PSA: Apple Music’s free 3-month subscription ending for many

If you’re an early adopter, as many of us are, then here’s a quick public service announcement: Apple is now billing the first customers who signed up for Apple Music for the very first month of service. The billing comes after Apple’s promised 3-month trial which is ending now if you signed up the day it launched.

In fact, we received a bill this morning — though we’re planning to continue using the service so it’s fine. Customers who aren’t planning to continue, however, should cancel immediately, or they may find a similar bill today or in the coming days. Apple charges $9.99 per month for the service and, depending on where you live, that’ll come out to about $10.69 after taxes.

And that’s all — just a quick reminder to cancel if you haven’t already, and a quick note that your first bill is coming should you continue to use the service.
