Here’s the Uncharted 2 train wreck sequence played in the HD collection

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is set to release for the PlayStation 4 on Oct. 9, 2015. This collection features the original Uncharted trilogy brought up to 1080p at 60fps.

That trilogy sports some pretty incredible moments. One of the favorites among both fans and critics comes from the opening bits of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It’s at the onset of the game that Drake comes to a wrecked train and has to climb atop it before it plummets into a snowy valley below.

The segment was awesome the first time we played it, and it looks fantastic in motion from Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. It’s sort of crazy what a 1080p and 60fps upgrade can do for a title. It looks really, really good.

Our own Eric Frederiksen reviewed The Nathan Drake Collection today, and he wound up giving it exceptionally high marks. I think that’s totally fair given the material it brings together. These games are fantastic.
