We’ve seen a lot of Nintendo characters created using the Unreal Engine 4 recently, but it’s when we get to entire settings that things start to become truly amazing. Check out this genuinely awe-inspiring recreation of The Ocarina of Time’s Kakariko Village, one of the game’s most popular locations.

Of course, it is missing quite a few elements, most notably the goofy inhabitants, the secret passages, and the rampaging Cuccos, but just seeing this iconic setting come to life with such gusto really inspires you to want this to be real.

Man, when is that Legend of Zelda for the Wii U coming out? Why is it taking so long, Nintendo?

The creator of this mod is YouTube’s Ioannis Papazis, and here’s to hoping that lightning strikes him and gives him the super-human ability to recreate the entire game in such a glorious manner.
