Sprint answered T-Mobile’s iPhone 6s prices, which can get you an iPhone 6s for as low as $5 per month, with new options of its own. The carrier on Thursday announced that customers can get the iPhone 6s for as low as $1 a month. See? It’s always good when carriers fight one another.
In this case, Sprint is requiring users to also trade in a current iPhone 6 to take advantage of the deal. After doing so, you can pick up either the 16GB iPhone 6s for $1/month or the 16GB iPhone 6s Plus for $5 per month. We don’t recommend you get either phone with just 16GB of storage, but that’s ultimately up to you. You can opt to pay $5.77 a month for the iPhone 6s with 64GB of storage, or $10.53 for the iPhone 6s with 128GB of storage. Sprint will also sell the iPhone 6s Plus for $9.77/month and $14.53/month with 64GB and 128GB of storage, respectively.
Own an iPhone 5s? Sprint will take that, too, and will charge $10 per month for a 16GB iPhone 6s or $14/month for the iPhone 6s Plus, if you trade in your iPhone 5s.
Sprint said the deal kicks off tomorrow and is only available for a “limited time.” Keep in mind you’ll need to sign up for the iPhone Forever program and still pay your other monthly data/voice/text bill, too.
