A photo posted to Weibo claims to reveal the One A9’s specs. HTC will apparently pack the device with mostly mid-range technology. That includes a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (hopefully with a microSD slot for adding extra space). We’re also expecting a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and a fingerprint reader in front.
We get a pretty good look at the alleged new smartphone as well. The design appears to lineup with recent renders, meaning curved corners and what looks like a home button below the display. Beyond the black version pictured above, HTC may also offer the One A9 in gold, silver, garnet (purple/red), rose gold and “cast iron.”
HTC’s new phone probably won’t arrive until November, though the company does have an event set for next week on September 29 in Japan. Even so, we don’t expect to get our hands on the One A9 for a few more months, leaving plenty of time for more leaks and rumors to surface.
