Asus reveals an even cheaper ZenFone 2 with 4GB of RAM

Until now, buying the ZenFone 2 meant making a pretty tough decision. You could pay just $199 for a solid handset with just 2GB of RAM, or jump to 4GB of RAM for an extra $100. Thankfully the company recently started offering a pretty enticing third option in the middle.

Over on Amazon, you can grab the ZenFone 2 with 4GB of RAM for just $229, though there is a catch. The new variant only comes with 16GB of storage, and jumping to a 64GB model brings the price back up to $299. On the plus side, the phone also packs a microSD card slot, so you can always add extra space on your own for cheap.

Otherwise this new ZenFone 2 offers the same list of specs. That includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 64-bit quad-core Intel chip, a 3000mAh battery, a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel shooter in front, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with plenty of bloatware on top. It comes unlocked and ready to run on AT&T or T-Mobile.

If you’re interested in grabbing the new ZenFone 2 hit the Amazon link below. Just don’t forget to grab a microSD card too before you check out if you don’t have one already.
