Shortly following the announcement of its Japanese release date, we now have news regarding when From Software’s Dark Souls III will head west. The game is set to launch in both Europe and North America during April of 2016.

We don’t have exact dates for either territory yet, so please stay tuned for those in the coming weeks. For comparison’s sake, Dark Souls III is hitting Japan on March 24, 2016. Yep, we’ll likely have to wait less than a month too see it.

On top of that news, we have new footage from the game thanks to Tokyo Game Show 2015. You’ll see that at the head of this post.

With Dark Souls III now occupying a slot in early 2016, exactly how packed do you think next year is going to be for great games? It should be nuts.
