We’re expecting Google’s new Nexus 5 to come in white, black and blue, but the company may have a fourth version up its sleeve. A new leak out of Korea (where the phone is being produced by LG) reveals an alleged mint green version of the upcoming handset.
It turns out the device, potentially called the Nexus 5X, could come in mint green as well. You can see the two new photos above, courtesy of UnderKG, along with earlier leaks showing the phone’s black and white variants. It’s a subtle difference, which makes us think this could just be weird lighting or a camera filter, though we’re not ruling out the possibility entirely.
We’re expecting the Nexus 5X to pack mostly mid-range specs, including a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, a 2700mAh battery, 3GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera. LG could also pack in some features like wireless charging, USB-C and a fingerprint reader in back. Of course, the entire thing will run pure Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.
According to one report Google is planning to announce the new Nexus 5 on September 29 alongside a second stock Android phone from Huawei. UnderKG’s source says they can backs up this claim, though we’re still waiting for Google to confirm the news.
