iOS 9 released with improved Siri, multitasking — download it now

Apple just released iOS 9 for download. It’s the company’s latest operating system that will power the iPad Pro and the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus out of the box, and you can officially update to it right now.

It’s worth downloading, too. If you have a relatively new larger iPad (not an iPad mini), you’ll be able to take advantage of new split-screen multitasking and picture-in-picture support. Additionally, Apple is launching its new News application, a totally revamped Notes app, smarter Siri results and proactive suggestions through a brand new search interface, improvements to Apple Maps with public transportation and more. iOS 9 also includes a new Wallet application, where you can store credit cards and rewards cards in the same place, all for use with Apple Pay.

You can manually update to iOS 9 now by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update.
