Twitter is already the place people go to rant, rave and sometimes even calmly talk about national politics. Now the social network is giving you a chance to put your money where your mouth is with a new political donations feature.
Unfortunately it’s not quite as easy as simply tweeting at your favorite politician to send them a few dollars. Twitter is also rolling out new election-focused features. For example, you’ll get a notification reminding you to vote depending on where you live. Candidates and their campaigns will get a few other Twitter tools as well, including the option to include a link for collecting email addresses.
