As T-Mobile continues to increase the footprint of its 4G LTE network, and activate its new “Extended Range LTE” 700mhz spectrum, the company is getting more bullish on its ability to attract and keep customers from other carriers. A new initiative announced on Thursday called “T-Mobile Coverage Lifetime Guarantee” promises customers they’ll like the coverage they get on T-Mobile.

“For as long as you use your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus on T-Mobile, if you aren’t completely satisfied with your coverage experience we’ll refund you for every penny you’ve paid for your new device in the first month, or after that, we’ll unlock it at no charge so you can use it with one of the other wireless companies.”

Technically the first part isn’t necessarily new: plenty of carriers, by law, are required to offer return policies, though they’re typically about 14 days. So it sounds like you get some extra time on T-Mobile to make up your mind. And on carriers like Verizon, most of the new phones are unlocked anyway. But, if you want to try T-Mobile, here’s your chance.
