Black Mirror’s third season still hasn’t been confirmed, but a new report suggests it could already be underway thanks to some help from Netflix. The streaming giant has reportedly won over the show’s creator, Charlie Booker, who’s set to film a new season of the series.

The show got its start with England’s Channel 4, which has aired two three-episode seasons and a Christmas special so far. Each episode is about 90 minutes long and exists as a stand-alone film with a different cast, a fresh setting and a unique story. The only thing tying the series together is its focus on the dark side of technology and the future it might lead to, though some fans have pointed to possible connections between different characters and events in different episodes.

There’s no way to know what will come next with Black Mirror season 3, though you can expect new mind-bending stories to be sure. The inclusion of John Hamm in show’s recent Christmas special also suggests we may see more mainstream American actors appear on the show, especially if it’s being push directly by Netflix to its massive U.S. audience.

The alleged news also implies that Black Mirror’s first two seasons have been a big hit for Netflix, though the company never releases any official viewership figures. If you haven’t seen the show yet you can watch the first six episodes now on Netflix.
