If Fallout 4 is anything like its predecessor, you’ll be getting anywhere from 60 to 600 hours out of it once it releases this fall. But that’s not enough for Bethesda. And dominating both the mobile and console/PC spaces isn’t enough either. Now its coming after your dining room table.
Bethesda announced today that Fallout is getting its own special edition of classic board game Monopoly.
There isn’t a whole lot of information available beyond this tweet:

The series is ripe for plucking from Monopoly with tons of iconic imagery and locations to mine. Maybe the game will come with bottle caps instead of paper money. I can imagine a Brotherhood of Steel player token, along with one for Dogmeat, another for a Super Mutant. The Nuka-Cola plant will be in place of the Water Works. None of this is real, but it all seems likely.
If you do plan to check this game out and actually have time to play it between sessions of Fallout 4 and everything else coming this fall, check out this clip from PBS Game/Show about how we’re playing Monopoly all wrong, wasting time and ruining friendships as a result.
Fallout 4 hits November 10 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 10, and Monopoly: Fallout Collector’s Edition hits sometime that month as well.
