Another huge quantum jump for Nintendo into the modern world has just occurred! The company has the digital backing of Amazon, meaning that Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Virtual Console games can now be purchased conveniently through the popular online retailer. No more fumbling through Nintendo’s convoluted eShop menus, just fire up Amazon and the game you want might be there.

For starters, 61 games have been added to Amazon’s database, including Super Mario Maker due for release next week. Joining it are a wide variety of games from modern hits like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors, and Bravely Default to classics from the Virtual Console like Super Metroid, Super Mario RPG, and the original Legend of Zelda.

To purchase them, simply do so the same way you would purchase anything through Amazon. After you checkout, Amazon will take you directly to the Nintendo Network where your code will already be plugged into the right place it needs to go.

Signed. Sealed. Delivered. It’s yours!
