Forza Motorsport 6 has gone gold and is ready for its September 15 release date. To help those on the fence, Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft have released a launch trailer and demo for the game.
The demo clocks in at 12GB and features races with the Ford GT, an Indy car, and a series of qualifying races with a choice of mid-range sports cars. It does a good job of covering all of the new elements Forza has to offer – night races, rain, and new tracks are all on display.
A brief overview of the new Mods feature is given as well. Mods, which are cards that can give advantages or disadvantages for different races and race conditions, can be bought with in-game credits, which have generally been very plentiful in the past. I’m still worried that they could be used as another way to prompt for microtransactions, but if Turn 10 is going to isolate micro transactions to just buying more credits, it won’t be much of a problem.
Forza Motorsport 6 releases on Xbox One on September 15.
