Acer on Wednesday added to its famous Chromebook lineup, introducing the Chromebook R11. With a 360 degree hinge design and HD touchscreen display, the new device is the perfect convertible for both work and play. All you’ll need is $299 to get onboard when the device launches this October in North America.

With more than 36 percent of the Chromebook market share, Acer is a big player in the growing segment, offering some great technology at an affordable price. Along with that 360 degree hinge design, the Chromebook R11 sports USB 3.0, 2×2 MIMO, a body that’s just 19.2mm thin, and Intel Celeron processors. Additionally, it features an 11.6-inch screen, which has 10-point touch integration.

Chromebooks have become key in the education market, and this is yet another device up for consideration. Because it has a cool hinge design, the Chromebook R11 can be shaped and shifted into a number of modes, making it a powerful device, whether you’re writing a document or watching a YouTube video.
