Motorola on Tuesday announced pre-orders for its Moto X Pure Edition will go live on Wednesday, Sept. 2. The company revealed the good news on Google+, again reiterating Motorola’s claim that the device will come with a camera that’s best in class. The Moto X Pure Edition is the U.S. variant of the Moto X Style (cool name!), and the bigger brother to the Moto X Play, which is available in many places that aren’t the United States.

The Moto X Pure Edition sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, 21-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3000mAh battery, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1. Additionally, it comes with 16/32/64GB of expandable storage, and supports fast charging technology. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, and the battery cannot be removed.

Customers will be able to pick the device up for $400 off-contract, and it can be used on all four major U.S. carriers, which is huge news. According to a member of the Moto Maker team, the device should start shipping the week of Sept. 13. In a market full of great cheap phones, will the new Moto X Pure Edition be king? We’ll find out soon.

Check out our quick hands on with the device below.
