Thanks to PAX Prime 2015 in Washington over this past weekend, we have another trailer for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. This is one off beat game, even by Nintendo’s standards.
The title, in case you’re unfamiliar, isn’t necessarily what we’ve come to expect from Animal Crossing. Rather than serving as a villager or mayor in your own town, doing things like fishing, chatting with residents, catching insects and donating to the museum, you’re a home designer.
You’re hired by animals to listen to their needs, decipher their styles and make them a home that you think they’ll love. That’s the game.
It’s also going to work with amiibo Cards, something Nintendo will start selling this year as well.
I’m not sure where I stand on Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer just yet. I know I’ll check it out at launch, but I’m not sure if it’s going to meet my needs for a game in this franchise. What do you think so far?
