Spigen is using mockups of the unannounced rose gold iPhone 6s to promote its case lineup for Apple’s next-generation iPhones. The company is already offering iPhone 6s and 6s Plus cases on Amazon, while a teaser on its website claims “a new color has bloomed.”
As expected, the devices depicted in Spigen’s mockups look exactly like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. This year’s refresh isn’t likely to bring any significant design changes, though recent leaks suggest that both devices will be ever so slightly thicker to accommodate their Force Touch displays.
While the images Spigen is using on Amazon show iPhone color options we’re already familiar with, a large teaser on the company’s website shows off the rumored rose gold option, which Apple is expected to add this September.
We should point out that Spigen’s images don’t actually confirm anything at this point. Although we do expect Apple to announce a rose gold iPhone 6s next month, these renders are made by Spigen, so they’re not totally definitive.
Bear in mind, then, that the actual thing could look a little different, and if you buy one of Spigen’s iPhone 6s cases now, you’re really just getting an iPhone 6 case with a new label.
