The new BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is now available on contract and SIM-free in the U.K. through Carphone Warehouse. Prices start at £27.50 (approx. $43) per month with a number of carriers to choose from.
Thanks to BlackBerry’s recent struggle, its latest devices aren’t always easy to obtain, and many carriers have chosen not to stock them. Thankfully, British retailer Carphone Warehouse has been keen to offer almost all of the Canadian company’s BlackBerry 10 devices at launch.
That includes the Passport Silver Edition, which is now available on contract and costs no more than the existing black model if you choose to pay monthly. Prices start at just £27.50 per month on O2, or £34 (approx. $53) per month on Vodafone, with nothing to pay upfront.
Those tariffs give you unlimited calls, unlimited text messages, and 1GB of data on O2 or 2GB of data on Vodafone. You can also get a whopping 10GB of data from O2 for just £39 (approx. $60) per month.
There is a slight premium if you want to buy the device outright, however. While the black Passport is available for £399.99 (approx. $619) SIM-free, the Silver Edition is £429.99 (approx. $665). But no matter how you pay for it, you will get free next-day delivery.
