Poster for upcoming Steve Jobs movie paints a lonely figure

As the release date for Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs movie nears, Universal Pictures has released the film’s poster. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think it came right out of Apple’s own Cupertino campus.

The poster’s focus is directly on Steve Jobs—played by Michael Fassbender—who is a lone figure among a stark white backdrop. Perhaps a fitting match for the man’s fiery personality. Even though that’s not the real Jobs, it looks pretty darn close, matching his famous turtle neck/jeans combo and look of permanent pensiveness. That’s one man I would not want to interrupt while in deep thought.

The movie, which is scheduled for an Oct. 9 release, will be based on the Apple co-founder’s life during three iconic product launches, ending with the iMac in 1998. Alongside Fassbender as Jobs, Seth Rogen plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
