New Android Wear smartwatches expected early next month

IFA 2015 is just around the corner, and this year it could be all about smartwatches at the annual Berlin tech show. CNET reports that Asus, Huawei, LG and Motorola all have new wearables to unveil, along with Samsung’s already promised Gear S2.

Motorola is definitely due for a new smartwatch, and copies of its rumored Moto 360 2 have already been spotted out in the wild. Meanwhile, LG will apparently introduce a successor to the Watch Urbane LTE that runs Android Wear instead of webOS.

Asus is expected to announce launch plans for the ZenWatch 2. The device was unveiled back in June, but we’re still waiting to learn when it will hit stores and for how much. Finally, it looks like Huawei will be ready to release its first Android Wear smartwatch, which originally appeared earlier this year at Mobile World Congress in February.

TechnoBuffalo will be covering IFA live from Berlin. We hope we don’t run out of wrist space trying out all the new smartwatches.
