LG on Monday announced the G Pad II 10.1, a tablet it will show the press for the very first time next week during the IFA trade show in Berlin. The tablet’s highlight feature is its slim bezels, which LG says are the thinnest among similarly sized tablets.
You won’t find today’s most powerful hardware under the hood, though it does still pack a solid feature set. The G Pad II 10.1 features a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz, a 10.1-inch scree with a 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution, which adds up to 224ppi, 16GB of expandable storage, 2GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, a 5-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a large 7,400mAh battery and support for various wireless networks including LTE Cat. 4.
LG said it will discuss the pricing and availability during IFA. TechnoBuffalo will be on the ground for the trade show beginning early next week, and we’ll work on hunting down a G Pad II 10.1 for photos and hands-on analysis.
