Xperia Z5 leaked dummy photos show the device from all angles

Sony’s done a pretty terrible job at keeping the Xperia Z5 a secret. Not that we’re complaining. We love gawking at the company’s beautiful new handsets ahead of time, and the latest leak offers our best look yet at the future flagship phone.

A fresh batch of images obtained by NoWhereElse show a dummy unit of the Xperia Z5 ensconced in a case for the upcoming device. We see the new phone from a variety of angles, revealing a design that hasn’t really changed much. This is still the same Omni-Balance style Sony has been pushing for the past few years.

The one real difference is the power button, which is a lot bigger than that tiny metal circle on previous models. Rumor has it the new button will pack a built-in fingerprint reader, which explains its new size. Otherwise everything looks the same, from the rear camera up top to the microUSB port along the bottom edge of the device.

Based on earlier rumors we’re expecting the Xperia Z5 to offer a 4500mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with an upgraded sensor. Sony will also likely unveil an Xperia Z5 Compact with similar specs and a smaller body, along with a super-sized Xperia Z5 Ultra. It’s unclear when these devices will actually launch, but it looks like all three handsets could be right around the corner.
