Pokkén Tournament is coming to the Wii U. Officially. The game has been announced for the console for next spring.

The official Twitch channel for Pokémon started streaming the Pokémon World Championships 2015 this morning. At the onset of the stream, the makers of Pokkén Tournament took the stage and announced that the title is, indeed, coming to the Wii U.

The Pokémon social media accounts then updated with the news. We got the trailer you see above, alongside a few different tweets. Here’s the official one.

The Spring 2016 release date is worldwide, too.

What do you think? Now that Pokkén Tournament has officially been confirmed for the Wii U with a release window, are you going to give it a shot?
