Destiny coming to PC? A Bungie job posting suggests so

As of the most recent clarification from Bungie, Destiny isn’t going to release for the PC. At least, that’s what the studio had been saying near the game’s original launch whenever they were asked.

A job posting on Bungie’s official site indicates that a port to PC, or at least a transition for the franchise to PC, is in the works.

The job is for a Compatibility Tester. It specifically reads in the description that “The PC Compatibility Tester will evaluate PC hardware-specific features and ensure various systems work together across multiple PC configurations to provide a great experience.”

Bungie seems to think you’ll be right for the job if you’re “kept up at night by the fear that your drivers might be out of date” and “you get more excited than it’s seemingly reasonable about good cable management in a computer case.” Awesome.

Bungie isn’t doing anything other than Destiny right now, at least on the level of what’s been announced. The PC-centric nature of this job posting suggests that either Destiny is bound for the PC or that Destiny 2 will hit the platform.

Either way, is this exciting for you PC gamers?
