Apple this week added yet another commercial to its “If it’s not an iPhone” campaign, this time focusing on the vast support for Apple Pay, which is now available in over 1 million stores.
Previous ads in this campaign have highlighted the iPhone’s excellent camera, and its ever-growing catalog of “amazing apps.” This one is the first to showcase Apple Pay, which made its debut last October, and has since received wide support from merchants and retailers throughout the U.S.
“This is Apple Pay, which lets you shop in a faster, simpler way,” Apple says. “It’s safer than a credit card and keeps your info yours, and you can already use it in over 1 million stores.”
Apple’s new iPhone ad comes less then three weeks before the Cupertino company is expected to announce its new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The new handsets are rumored to bring Force Touch displays, Apple’s latest A9 processor, and much-improved rear-facing cameras.
