Venmo already makes it easy to pay your friends back after a meal out or a trip to the movies. Now the PayPal-owned service is launching a new feature that should make the app even more useful.
Group accounts make it possible to collect payments for a club, an activity or any other group of friends. You can also set one person or multiple people up to manage the group. Otherwise this is the same Venmo you know and love, with options to like and comment on posts.
Most of the time regular Venmo is probably good enough, but there are some situations where this could be really useful. For example, a college or even high school club that needs to collect dues might benefit from Venmo Groups. It might even come in handy when you’re setting up an office pool for March Madness or the Super Bowl.
Venmo Groups is still in beta but you can sign up via the source link below. All you need is your own Venmo account to get started.
