PlayStation Experience 2015 announced for San Francisco

Last year’s PlayStation Experience 2014 proved to be quite a hit for Sony. So much so that it wants to do it again, albeit with a change in venue. The show will be moving away from Las Vegas and into Moscone West in San Francisco on Dec. 5 and 6.

Once again, Sony will be bringing all of its biggest hits and plenty of the indies that it has thrown its weight behind over the last year. Ticket prices have also been dropped down to $60 for those who register before Sept. 20, and $75 for those after, making it more accessible to all.

Sony’s exlusivity deal with Capcom and Street Fighter V is also planning to make an appearance.

Also, for all you Street Fighter fans out there, the Capcom Cup will be held at PlayStation Experience this year as a one-day special event open to all attendees on Sunday, December 6th! As the final culmination of the 2015 Capcom Pro Tour, the official Street Fighter eSports league, the Capcom Cup will feature 32 of the world’s best players competing for the title of “Street Fighter World Champion” and a shot at the massive $250,000 prize pool.

What can we expect to see heading into 2016? We know that Uncharted 4 has been pushed back, so expect that to be a highlight. The Last Guardian is bound to show up of course, and maybe we’ll finally get a release date for No Man’s Sky and the evasive Hyper Light Drifter.

Man, when was the last we’ve heard of that game? Maybe Dec. 5 is when we’ll finally see it in action once again.
