Earlier this week we learned that Sony could be launching an Xperia Z5 Ultra (or Xperia Z5 Plus) with some powerful new specs. Now we’re getting a first look at the alleged smartphone.
A leaked render of the Xperia Z5 Ultra/Plus shows the rumored phablet in black, silver and gold color options. It looks pretty similar to recent Xperia Z smartphones with a sleek industrial design and metal edges. We also get a glimpse of the power button on the side of the device, which is expected to pack a built-in fingerprint reader.
Rumor has it the Xperia Z5 Ultra will also feature a 4K display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, along with a Snapdragon 810 processor. Otherwise the device is still a mystery, though you can probably count on high-end specs across the board.
Sony is expected to reveal at least some of its new Xperia Z5 lineup in September at IFA. That includes the flagship Z5, a smaller Z5 Compact, and the super-sized Z5 Ultra. We can’t wait to check out these devices, though it’s possible we won’t see all three phones unveiled next month.
