President Obama now has two Spotify playlists you can listen to

Wondering what the President of the United States listens to? Wonder no more. President Obama now has two playlists on Spotify that you can browse at your convenience, including one that he plays during the day, and a second evening playlist.

The #POTUSPlaylist for daytime includes 20 songs featuring songs from The Temptations, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Coldplay (seriously?), Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Nappy Roots, John Legend and Florence + The Machine. It’s quite a mix, but there’s plenty to check out.

President Obama’s nighttime playlist includes John Coltrane, Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding, Mos Def, Ray Charles, Van Morrison and more.

Other White House staffers will be creating playlists, too, it sounds like. “On Spotify, you can expect to see the White House share playlists created by administration officials, as well as playlists curated around events and issues to engage the public and acquaint them with the people working in the administration,” Spotify said Friday.

It’s kind of cool to be able to listen to the same music that our president does, and you can subscribe to either playlist to stay up to date with whatever is added or removed. Hit the source to subscribe now.
