Motorola has yet to make a second iteration of the Moto 360 official, but that isn’t stopping the company from showing it off in teaser videos.

The Moto 360 made a rather unceremonious debut on Friday in a Motorola promotional video that seems to be about showing off Android Wear features. The video was tweeted out by the company — and has since been deleted — and 9to5Google spotted something unusual about the watch on display in that it looked an awful lot like the Moto 360, but the band connector is significantly different from the first gen Moto 360.

If it wasn’t for the band connector this could easily be taken to be a first generation Moto 360 which seems to indicate not a whole lot is going to change this year. That’s good if you loved the first one, bad if you were hoping for some differences.

We’re still not sure when the Moto 360 will be officially announced, but something tells us it won’t be too far off now.
