The Japanese arm of PlayStation is currently testing the PlayStation 4’s 3.00 version firmware, and it looks like the details of the update have leaked out of the beta phase.
What you see at the start of the gallery above is a screenshot of version 3.00’s details. Gematsu has moved through the notes and translated them. You can read the full host of new features by hitting the source link below, but we’ve grabbed a few of the massive ones.
A change log for English users also came out courtesy of a post on Reddit.
Yep, at the top of our list is the ability to broadcast gameplay to YouTube. Here we go.
- It is now possible to broadcast using YouTube.
- It is now possible to upload video clips to Twitter. (10 seconds maximum.)
- [PlayStation Plus] has been added to the main menu. Here, you can get the latest information on the Instant Game Collection and member discounts..
- You can now create a sub account for a minor by selecting [New User] in the screen for selecting a user.
What do you think? Will you try streaming to YouTube instead of Twitch? Heck, should we?
