Phil Spencer, the head of the Xbox team, likes video games. I love it when that’s the case for decision makers in the gaming world, don’t you?

How much does Phil like video games? A lot. He’s been playing a lot of Destiny, too. Xbox and Windows Gaming Platform executive Mike Ybarra went and tweeted out a screenshot of how much play time Phil Spencer has in Bungie’s Destiny.

Here’s the tweet in question.

That says Spencer has 346 hours sunk into Destiny.

Spencer went on the record a few weeks back highlighting other execs like Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida. He offered then that he believes gaming executives should love games.

“…I think our industry is better when more people who made decisions on games play.”

It seems the man practices what he preaches, and that, I genuinely believe, is good for gaming.
