If you fancy yourself a fan of the yearly outings of Call of Duty multiplayer, here’s a lengthy clip of gameplay from gamescom 2015 for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
The footage comes from YouTube channel TheRelaxingEnd, and they credit the gameplay to Omega. It was their first time playing Call of Duty: Black Ops III and their first time playing any CoD game on the PlayStation 4.
The clip is solid, but all the fast-forwarding and skipping is a bit annoying. As for the gameplay itself? I hate to sound cliche here, but this looks like Call of Duty. Not that I was expecting anything else, quite honestly, but Advanced Warfare seemed to push the series in a more mobile direction with the ways to traverse. This, or at least the way it’s being played here, seems more in line with traditional Call of Duty than what Advanced Warfare offered.
How do you feel about the potential drop in mobility? Are you excited to see Call of Duty normalized, or would you rather movement in the series get even faster?
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms on Nov. 6, 2015.
