There are just a little over 6 days until Samsung holds its Unpacked event next week. Given all the leaks and rumors we’ve seen, it’s pretty much a done deal we’re going to not only see a Note 5 announced, but a Galaxy S6 Edge+. But will another mystery device make an appearance? Samsung’s teaser seems to suggest that’s the case.
Up on the company’s Unpacked 2015 countdown page, an image teasing Samsung’s upcoming phones is shared. And while it’s pretty easy to deduce what the top two devices are, that third one has us stumped. It appears larger than the Note 5 and S6 Edge+, suggesting Samsung might have a new tablet to show off—perhaps something to combat Apple’s rumored iPad Pro.
We haven’t seen many rumors claiming Samsung is working on a new tablet, so either the company is going to completely surprise us, or that image is just…nothing? It’s difficult to say, especially this close to Samsung’s big event. Below is the text attached to the image.
We were the first to make them big.
Now we’re making BIG even BETTER.
Are you ready to Live BIG?
I’m ready. Based on earlier leaks, we’re expecting the Galaxy Note 5 to feature an Exynos 7422 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage, a 3,000mAh battery and a Quad HD display. What you won’t find—at least based on recently leaked photos—is support for expandable storage and a removable battery.
We’ll find out more next week.
