Just like 2K promised last week, Mafia III has officially been revealed in trailer form. The video you see above is that trailer, and it checks in at nearly four minutes in length. The bad news? No gameplay.
Still, the tone has officially been set. The game takes place in 1968. It features Vietnam Veteran Lincoln Clay, and we assume plenty of flashbacks to his time at war.
Clay captures a man, drags him out to a swamp in the Bayou, as he reveals through dialogue, and sets to feed him to the gators. Or crocs. I never know which is which.
Mafia III will release in 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. The music in the trailer alone was enough to push me to excited, so we’ll have more on this game as it comes. Stay tuned.
Until then, what do you think of the full reveal?
