The Xperia Z5 is still a pretty big question mark, but a new leak could give us a first look at the rumored flagship phone and its Compact sibling. The image, courtesy of Twitter tipster ViziLeaks, also reveals a new feature allegedly coming to the device.

First, note that the leak says Xperia Z(TBC), suggesting the name hasn’t been decided upon officially. Still, we’re expecting the Xperia Z5 at some point, so that’s the name we’re going with.
The Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact will apparently sport fingerprint readers. ViziLeaks notes that the biometric sensor will come built into the power button, which still sits on the side of the device. We get a look at the setup process, which seems pretty straightforward.
Otherwise the Xperia Z design hasn’t really changed, though it’s possible this is an early prototype. ViziLeaks adds that both models still feature glass-covered back panels, though they shouldn’t be as slippery as previous models. Finally, neither device will include USB-C.
Based on previous leaks, the Xperia Z5 is expected to offer a brand new Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 4500mAh battery. Sony’s also expected to stick with its 20.7-megapixel camera, though the CMOS sensor should receive some improvements.
There’s still no word on when we’ll actually see the Xperia Z5 unveiled. Sony recently announced plans for an event on September 2 in Berlin just head of the IFA expo, so maybe we’ll see the new smartphones announced there.
