iPhone 6 and 6 Plus return to Virgin Mobile with $100 discount

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now available on Virgin Mobile USA again, more than five months after they were dropped from the carrier’s lineup. To celebrate their return, both devices have received $100 discounts.

That means you can snag a prepaid, 16GB iPhone 6 for just $549.99, while the 16GB iPhone 6 Plus is now priced at $649.99. If you’re looking to spend even less, you can also get the prepaid, 8GB iPhone 5c in white for just $299.99.

Unfortunately, Virgin Mobile isn’t currently offering any other storage capacities — so if you want a 64GB or 128GB handset, you’ll have to get it elsewhere. The iPhone 5c is only available in white with 8GB of storage, too.

It seems strange Virgin would bring the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus back now, with next-generation models right around the corner. But with a $100 discount, the carrier will likely shift a decent number of units as smartphone shoppers look to bag an iPhone with a hefty reduction.
