Star Wars Battlefront also features Team Deathmatch “Blast Mode”

Star Wars Battlefront will bring back the huge maps and the expansive battles that the original games are known for. Battle back waves of enemies, control the flow of battle, kidnap important checkpoints. You know the drill. Sounds like a lot of fun, but it’s also quite complicated to mount coordinated offensives and what not.

Never fear! For those who just want the joy of blasting Rebel scum in the face, DICE has confirmed that there is a Team Deathmatch mode as well called “Blast Mode.” 10-on-10 fights, Rebels vs Imperials, first one to a hundred kills wins. Cut and dry. Easy enough for you to grasp?

The maps will also be much smaller than the maps used in the normal Battlefield mode, with DICE hoping to keep the action tight, compact, and fast. Levels include inside the Endor shield generator, the canyons of Tattooine, and the ice caves on hoth.

Star Wars Battlefront will launch on Nov. 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
