While second screens in gaming have largely died off, Microsoft continues to make their Smartglass app one of the better ways to interact with their systems, adding all kinds of functionality we couldn’t have imagined a few years ago. These options are set to expand with Windows 10, and now Android and iOS users are seeing one of these new functions.

The ability to view, share, and save screenshots in the SmartGlass app – just like you already can in the Xbox app on Windows 10 – is coming to Android and iOS.

The feature will be available to Beta users of the apps. On Android, all you have to do is install the beta version from the app store, which is publicly available. iOS users need to be part of the SmartGlass private beta already to take part.

It’s not clear when the feature will be rolling out to public users, but with Windows 10 coming out we’re likely to start seeing some major updates to the app. We probably won’t have to wait too long.
