If you’ve finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and you’re already hungry for more, developer CD Projekt Red has just the thing for you, and it’s not too far off.
While the two expansion packs are still a ways out, CD Projekt Red announced this week that a New Game Plus mode is coming to The Witcher 3. In the tweet, shown below, they specifically say it’s not coming this week. That implies that it’s not that far off, either. This is the final planned free DLC for the game.
NG+, the final FREE DLC, is on the way! Stay tuned. Won’t happen this week – we need a bit more time to finish it. pic.twitter.com/jheuPi94wc

Word is sparse on exactly what the New Game Plus mode will entail aside from a higher difficulty level, but it will give us an opportunity to pour another 100 hours into the game while pretending we’re being productive.
The DLC should be out relatively soon, and we’re looking forward to seeing exactly what CD Projekt Red has planned.
