Galaxy Note 5 pictures reveal the phone in high resolution

The Galaxy Note 5 has once again broken cover in some newly leaked photos leading to even more questions about the S-Pen.

The Galaxy Note 5 can’t seem to go more than a day right now without someone shooting new pictures of it. The latest ones are leaked from Nillkin and show the upcoming phablet from several different angles. Of most interest is the S-Pen as it is once again showing being flush with the handset frame adding to the mystery of how it will be removed. The pictures of the prototype that appeared over the weekend showed it having a recessed area for removing it with a fingernail as we have in the past, so now we’re really not sure what will be happening on the final version.

It’s clear that Samsung has tried some different iterations this time around, so it will be interesting to see what is finally announced. Samsung has been known to release different versions of the phone in various parts of the world, so you have to wonder if we’re going to see the S-Pen removed in a different manner in some places. It seems unlikely, but you never know.

Samsung did announce an unpacked event on Monday that will take place in New York City on Aug. 13. While the Note 5 wasn’t mentioned specifically, with the number of leaked images showing up lately it seems highly unlikely the event could be about anything else. Of course, rumors also indicate we’ll see the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, but the Galaxy Note 5 feels like a lock at this point.

Stay tuned as we’re pretty sure this won’t be the last leak we see leading up to the Aug. 13 event. And make sure to tune in that day as TechnoBuffalo will be at the event covering it live.

Thanks to Josh for the tip.
