OnePlus 2 vs. OnePlus One — Spec shootout

by Todd Haselton | July 27, 2015July 27, 2015 8:12 pm PDT

The OnePlus 2 is official so, of course, we all want to know how it stacks up against last year’s model. Well we’re here with that very answer and even have some spec sheet so you can check off every last detail.

There are some primary differences you should know about right away, though. The OnePlus One had a Snapdragon 801 processor that has been bumped up to a new Snapdragon 810 chip. Additionally, while the OnePlus One had 3GB of RAM, there will be a model of the OnePlus 2 with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The battery, too, has been boosted from 3,100mAh to 3,300mAh. Other new features include a fingerprint reader, OxygenOS, a dedicated notification toggle button, a customizable LED notification light and more.

The OnePlus 2 will start at $329 with 16GB of storage and 3GB of RAM, while the 64GB model with 4GB of RAM will set you back $389. That’s just a hair more than the 16GB OnePlus One ($249) and the 64GB OnePlus One ($299) and seems, at least on the surface, well worth the upgrade. Check out how the two stack up in more detail below:
