OnePlus 2 vs. LG G4 specs shootout

by Jacob Kleinman | July 27, 2015July 27, 2015 8:32 pm PDT

The LG G4 is a great device, but is it better than the latest from OnePlus? We’ve got a full blow by blow comparison between the G4 and the OnePlus 2 to help you make up your mind.

Both devices offer phablet-sized 5.5-inch screens, but LG beats OnePlus with a higher Quad HD display. Then again, that likely means less battery life for the G4, and OnePlus also manages to cram in a 3300mAh power pack compared to LG’s 3000mAh battery. The OnePlus boasts more RAM as well along with an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, instead of the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 used by LG.

LG made a big bet on leather with the G4, wrapping the device in a high-end material that it promised would age well. OnePlus is taking a different approach entirely with its StyleSwap back panels, which should let you switch between wood, sandstone, kevlar and more on the fly.

We can’t wait to really compare these two phones side-by-side. For now check out the full spec shootout below along with images of the OnePlus 2 and LG G4.
