The OnePlus 2 is set to make its official debut later on Monday, but we’re already getting a look at some hands-on photos of the new phone. A fresh batch of leaked photos from an alleged Chinese tester show the OnePlus 2 in high definition.
The leaker, who shared the images via a few different online forums on Monday, also offered a few first impressions. He or she notes that the design is ugly but the device boasts “good workmanship.” It also packs an OIS camera, though apparently lacks a Sony camera module (Sony makes some of the best out there.) Finally, the leaker says the fingerprint scanner is just OK, while OxygenOS is still pretty buggy and needs some work.
Overall we think the OnePlus 2 looks pretty sweet, and if you were a fan of the original One you’ll probably like this new device. It appears to feature a sleek metal frame with big speaker grills along the bottom edge. It looks like the new phone also features a snap-off back panel and may even offer a removable battery.
We already know that the OnePlus 2 will come equipped with a Snapdragon 810, 4GB of RAM, USB-C, a fingerprint scanner and a 3300mAh battery. The company is all set to reveal the device tonight, so it won’t be long before we have a full list of specs and features. Enjoy these beautiful leaked photos for now.
UPDATE: The OnePlus 2 is now official!
