Fallout Shelter hits Android on August 13 with new features

Fallout Shelter, Bethesda’s free to play take on the Fallout universe, originally released only for iOS when they announced it at their E3 show last month. Two months after it’s release – August 13 – will see the game heading to the Android platform.

Bethesda announced the impending port today at QuakeCon 2015, and detailed some of the new features the Android version will ship with. The features will come to the iOS version in an update scheduled for the same day.

The Android version will see the addition of Fallout‘s infamous Deathclaw, the most fearsome and deadly¬†creature roaming the wasteland. Mr Handy, the floating multi-tool robot, will join the ranks of the vault as well, and will be able to fight and collect resources for you in or out of the vault.
